Privacy

The short kind, because there isn't much to disclose.

Your images

BlurThat's tools run entirely in your browser using the HTML5 canvas. Images you open are read by your own device, edited by your own device, and saved by your own device. They are never transmitted to us or anyone else. We could not look at them if we wanted to — there is no server-side image handling at all. You can verify this by loading the page and disconnecting from the internet; the tools keep working.

Exports

Downloaded images are re-encoded from the canvas, which strips EXIF metadata (GPS location, timestamps, camera details) as a side effect. The file you download contains the visible pixels and nothing else.

The website itself

Pages are served statically. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which involves your browser requesting font files from Google's servers (Google's privacy policy applies to that request). If we add privacy-respecting page analytics in the future to count visits, it will count pages, not people, and this page will say so.
